Do you know that the amount of calories we consume is directly proportional to the amount of body weight we can lose? Yes. We can lose excess fat by melting down the amount of calories. But when asked how the body can burn the calories, the solid and working answer is controlling the metabolism rate. The more we control the metabolism, the more the calories get burned and thus the more fat can be lost.
By using pills that increase the metabolism rate, excess fat can be eliminated since due to high metabolism rate calories get burned. But following this method on a long run is not advisable since it increases the rate at which the heart beats, shows effect on the kidneys and even causes irritation.
There’s an alternative. Instead of using pills that increase metabolism rate it is better to look for the ways to increase the rate at which this metabolism burns your calories as metabolism can burn calories even during our sleep.
As losing fat is our main goal, we need to concentrate on losing 1-3bs per week. This can be possible by properly controlling the metabolism rate. But when we concentrate on losing weight too much by following rigorous methods to control metabolism, then we may end up with “yo-yo” syndrome where we lose weight, gain weight again lose weight and finally gain weight again. And all our hard work in controlling diet ends up useless.
Thus, the only safest way we can boost our metabolism rate is by increasing our daily activity level by simple steps such as going for a walk, cycling for not so longer distances, not using elevator at least once a day.
The most noticeable change with increase in the metabolism rate is the lose of weight which is permanent.
